About the Authors

Ramesh Babu is Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering in Pondicherry Engineering College. He is known for several other books, some of which are : Electrical Devices and Circuits, Electrical Circuit Analysis and Network Analysis.

Dr. Babu completed his bachelors in electronics and communication engineering from NBKR Institute of Science and Technology, S. V. University. He is interested in research in the areas of Digital Signal Processing, Circuit Theory, Electronic Circuits, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers.

R. Anandanatarajan is a Professor at the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Pondicherry Engineering College. He has also written Computer Peripherals and Interfacing, Electrical Engineering. His research interests lie in the areas of Process Control, Electric Circuit Analysis, Biomedical Instrumentation, Computer Control of Process and Research Areas Nonlinear Process Control among others.

The authors have also collaborated on Basic Electrical Engineering, Signals and Systems and Control Systems Engineering.
